The secretary of the Canarian Coalition Organization and regional deputy, Rosa Davilaannounced yesterday to the island Executive, in an ordinary meeting, its willingness to lead the candidacy of the Canary Coalition for the Presidency of the Cabildo de Tenerife ahead of the elections to be held in May 2023.

The current vice-president of the Parliament of the Canary Islands thus made official her intention to head the list of her party to the Cabildo de Tenerife, a candidacy that must be endorsed in the Island Executive and the Island Political Council that will be held on October 28. After the resignation of Carlos Alonso to head the list, and the need for José Manuel Bermúdez to repeat the Mayor’s Office of Santa Cruz, Dávila had become the favorite.
