SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Deputy Minister of the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, Antonio Olivera, stated this Thursday that relations between the partners of the ‘Pacto de las Flores’ are “excellent”, also with Sí Podemos, despite the withdrawal of political support in the Cabildo de Tenerife.
In a press conference to give an account of the agreements of the Governing Council, he gave as an example that the Minister of Social Rights, Noemí Santana, was present at the event with the Minister of Migration, José Luis Escrivá, to sign the subsidy of 50 million to serve migrants on the islands. “Relationships are very positive,” she added.
The two Podemos councilors in the island corporation, David Carballo and Cristo González, announced this Wednesday that they were withdrawing their political support from the island government group formed by PSOE and Cs for its management of the ‘Cuna del Alma’ urban project, a position not endorsed by the group’s spokesperson, María José Belda.
