DinoSol Foundation donates 9,000 kilos of food to animal shelters

Foundation DinoSun“concerned about the welfare and protection of homeless animals”, has donated throughout this year, a total of 9,000 kg of food for the protectors and animal shelters of the Archipelago. Right now, The entity collaborates with 15 associations from Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Tenerife.

Among these animal protectors and shelters are Asociación Life4 Pitbulls Canarias; ADA Gran Canaria; Sarah Protector; ADEPAC; Juma Association; Protective Sacramento, and Protector of Animals K9 Tenerifeamong other.

HiperDino, through the DinoSol Foundation, wants to contribute its grain of sand so that these associations can continue carrying out their activity. It is a necessary task that requires selfless collaboration in order to continue over time and thus help homeless animals.

Entity

The DinoSol Foundation was established in March 2017 with the aim of promoting individual, collective and family well-being, and improving the quality of life and professional training of all workers and collaborators who are part of the professional family. HyperDino.

Likewise, it supports the social and cultural development of Canarian society and actively participates in solidarity activities.

Since its inception, it has carried out around 264 collaborations with associations, foundations and non-profit entities in the Canary Islands, and has helped 756 people who work in the HiperDino chain.

Actions

Likewise, through the Foundation, eight social programs have been launched and developed; as well as 29 own projects such as the Canary Islands Family Aid Program and Food with Life; three solidarity products such as Solidarity Socks and 13 corporate campaigns, in addition to five training courses on values, with a workshop on gender-based violence and another on the importance of communicating in equality, for employees.

Committed to fostering education and promoting talent, the DinoSol Foundation has awarded ten grants for excellence to the children of HiperDino workers. As for its Volunteer program, it is made up of more than 350 people, who have decisively participated in 69 solidarity activities and 17 volunteer activities.
