The Cabildo de La Gomera has intensified its promotional actions through La Gomera Travel’s social networks -Facebook, Instagram and Twitter- to attract the international tourism that is typical of this season. This informative action is intended to publicize the values of the Island as a tourist destination and encourage the desire to visit it.
The Minister of Tourism, María Isabel Méndez, explained that the campaign is segmented into two periods, autumn and winter, with a duration of three months each, which focuses on the main German, English and French-speaking issuing markets, as well as an adult target audience with a traveler profile, who seeks nature, tranquility and good weather.
During the autumn period, proposals are presented to combat the return to routine after summer with content focused on gastronomy, slow life (lifestyle), well-being, traditions and festivals, beaches and natural spaces.
Already in the winter months, the content will insist, above all, on the mild temperatures that the island offers throughout the year, which invite you to escape from the cold of the continent. Content related to the accommodation offer, sports such as yoga, surfing or hiking, and other geographical and identity curiosities of the island will be shown.
In addition, the website will present modifications in the design with a new image that will visually mark the beginning of a new season, and will play with the colors in the images according to the different times of the year.
