Residents of Santa Cruz de Tenerife have been denouncing a hunter for animal abuse, noise and unhealthiness for 30 years

The Polish is the nickname of a neighbor supposedly the owner of a pack of dogs used for hunting located on one of the many rooftops in the neighborhood of La Salud Alto, in the capital of Tenerife. According to the PACMA Animalist Party, the residents of the area have been denouncing him for years for the overcrowding of animals, barking at dawn and at all hours of the day, and for the unsanitary conditions in which the property is located, where it also houses pigeons.

The PACMA team in Tenerife has issued a press release this Monday assuring that they have been receiving complaints for years about the problems allegedly caused by this santacrucero to which the neighbors claim to have reported to the police on several occasions without there having been any changes in the situation of animals. The photos shared by the animalist political formation show facilities in a state of ruin, full of debris and what appears to be fecal matter on the floors coming out of some rooms where, supposedly, the dogs would be found.

“We have been living with this situation for nearly 30 years. It is not understood that a person is allowed to have a pack of dogs on a rooftop in the middle of the capital, and even less so when he has them that are embarrassing. Those dogs are tied up or locked up in small rooms for most of the year; they cry and complain constantly, they are desperate. The entire roof is full of feces and urine at all times, but no matter how much we denounce and ask that they be removed, everything remains the same, ”explains an affected neighbor.

From PACMA they have collected the complaints of these people and assure that they are studying possible legal measures against the man since, according to what they say, “it seems that the neighbors have been systematically ignored for decades despite the fact that health regulations could be breached and of animal welfare”.
