SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 3 (EUROPE PRESS) –

More than 230 establishments have already joined the new Tenerife Consumption Bonds campaign with which the Cabildo will put bonds on the market for a total value of 600,000 euros to reactivate the sales of small and medium-sized businesses throughout the island, especially those of those municipalities in which there is no similar incentive.

The Minister of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, recalled that establishments have until October 15 to join this campaign, with which they can offer their customers discounts of up to 60 euros at no cost to the business .

“This is a unique opportunity that will allow them not only to win new customers, but also to retain the ones they already have, offering special discounts, at zero cost,” added the counselor, who explained that 50% of the cost of the voucher will be paid by the consumer and the other half will be paid by the Cabildo to the business, within a maximum period of two weeks, from the date of purchase.

Carmen Luz Baso also highlighted the especially sensitive moment in which it was launched, “allowing Tenerife families to have extra support at a time when inflation is affecting their purchasing power.”

So far, businesses from 23 municipalities on the island have joined the initiative. To participate, all you have to do is go to the bonotenerife.es website and fill out the registration form.

With the aim of facilitating the registration and the necessary procedures for interested businesses, the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (Fifede), responsible for managing the campaign, has set up a telephone service, in the number 922 100 008, with the following hours: from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday, as well as from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends.

In addition, queries about the program can be made via email. Likewise, businesses that have already participated in other editions may take advantage of this new campaign, carrying out a small procedure.

Citizens will be able to start redeeming the bonds as of October 31. Specifically, users will be able to choose between three types of bonuses, for amounts of 10, 30 and 60 euros to make purchases at any of the businesses that have joined
