SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 2 (EUROPE PRESS) –
A merchant ship located a pneumatic boat 150 nautical miles (278 km) south of Gran Canaria on Saturday with one survivor and four deceased on board, as reported by Salvamento Marítimo.
The merchant managed to rescue the survivor, who was later evacuated by the Helimer 206. The Miguel de Cervantes will arrive today, Sunday, at the position of the pneumatics, where the four deceased remain.
As reported by Cecoes 1-1-2, a medicalized ambulance from the SUC attended the affected person at the Gran Canaria Airport and transferred him with hypothermia to the Hospital Universitario Insular de Gran Canaria.
