Espido Freire will participate in the Icod de los Vinos Art Festival

The writer Espido Freire (Bilbao, 1974), the youngest author who has won the Planet Awardplans to participate next Wednesday, October 5 in the postponed Icod de los Vinos Art Festivala literary and musical gala in which the XXXVI Poetry Prize will be awarded Emeterio Gutierrez Albelo.

The Art Festival, which is part of the Program of Events for the Fiestas del Cristo 2022, will take place in Andres de Lorenzo Cáceres square starting at 9:00 p.m. next Wednesday. The string quartet Velut Umbra, Tempus Chelo Ensemble and Passion Vega.

Espido Freire In 1999 he obtained the Planet Award for his novel frozen peaches. Among his recognitions is also the Ateneo de Sevilla Award for Soria moria and the Azorín Award for Call me Alexandra.
