The fire of a workshop in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is settled with an injured

A 34-year-old man was injured this Friday with a burn on his arm and moderate intoxication due to smoke inhalation in a fire that started in a workshop in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The events occurred after 12:30 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received multiple calls in which it was reported that smoke was coming out of a workshop on Calle del Olvido.

Several crews from the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium extinguished the flames and ventilated the building and the SUC staff assisted one affected person and transferred him to La Candelaria Hospital.

The Local Police secured the area and carried out the corresponding procedures while Civil Protection collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
