The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canarian Institute of Agrifood Quality (ICCA), and the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge and Employment, through Proexca, promote the participation of fruit and vegetable companies from the islands in the International Fruit Attraction Fair.
It is one of the largest showcases in the world for the promotion of fruit and vegetables in the international market that will be held from October 4 to 6 in Madrid and will be attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Alicia Vanoostende .

Both the companies of the archipelago and the Cabildo de Tenerife and the Cabildo de La Palma will show their full potential at the stand of the Government of the Canary Islands ‘Latitud de vida’, managed by the ICCA and Proexca, which will have 128 square meters in Hall 5 of Ifema, in addition to individualized work spaces for each company, counters and product displays, among other supports.
Likewise, the Canarian Institute of Agricultural Research (ICIA) will have a space within the stand for the presentation of a project related to fruit tree research that is part of the Fruttmac program.
This commercial showcase and meeting point will allow fruit and vegetable operators to build loyalty in business relationships and open up market opportunities at an event that brings together more than 80,000 professionals from the sector from 130 countries. Canarian companies will have the LIVEConnect artificial intelligence platform that will enable thousands of impacts and brand awareness for companies and their products, with buyers, distributors and traders from all over the world.
The Minister highlighted the “effort made by the Regional Executive so that the companies of the islands have all the facilities to show the potential of our fruit and vegetable sector and its export capacity, because we are talking about unique products with high added value.”
