Amazing robbery that took place in La Esperanza, a town located in Tenerife. Taking advantage of the dawn three thieves broke into the premises of a bar of the area. Their objective, after breaking down the entrance door, was to seize the slot machine and change machine fundraiser.
However, while two of them are in charge of trying to get the contents out of the machines, the third decides to go for something more special loot. After a few seconds of waiting, the security cameras of the premises record him taking out of the kitchen two halves of tarts. He places them carefully on the bar, waiting for her classmates to finish, before taking them away.
The most curious image comes when the first two leave the place in a hurry with the money obtained while the third does with great care since he carries the two cakes in his hands and does not want them to fall or spoil them.
Sergio, the owner of the place that opened just a few months ago, tells Antenna 3 that “He couldn’t stop laughing when he saw the thieves taking his cakes.” He himself acknowledges that “the cakes are homemade and they make them themselves, he says that they are the main attraction of his business”.
It is possible that the thieves had thoroughly ‘analyzed’ the place they went to rob and thus discovered how well known the local cakes were. Perhaps they even tried them before the crime and did not want to control themselves when they saw them without protection in the kitchen.
