The Cabildo invests more than a million in the sewage system of La Guancha

The Council of Tenerife puts out to public tender for 1.1 million euros the project to execute the sanitation network in six streets of the urban area of The Guancha, which will allow the municipality to reach 70% of urban territory with sewerage. The Councilor for Municipal Cooperation and Housing, Zebenzui Chineaindicates that with this action on the roads of The Potters, El Castillo, Cruz de Los Claveles, Nueva, La Caldera and El Farrobo“we will contribute to solving the problem of sanitation” of wastewater.

Chinea points out that the works will have a game of €1,178,880financed 90 percent by the Cabildo and 10 percent by the Consistory of La Guancha. This action is part of the Insular Cooperation Plan 2018-2021.

Chinea adds that “these works will respond to the demand that has been transmitted to us by the northern City Council. This is a priority action for the population of the urban nucleus of The Guanchawith which we want to offer a sanitation service in quality conditions».

The mayor of La Guancha, Antonio Hernandez (PP)highlights that “we thank the Cabildo for the effort not only in investment, but also in the bidding and drafting of the project in relation to some works that suppose for La Guancha one more step in the channeling of residual waters, which will imply, after its execution, that more than 70% of our sanitation network is already in place”.
