Two accidents on the TF-5, at the height of the Hospital Universitario de Canarias (HUC) and in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, have collapsed traffic on the highway this morning, leaving long queues on the road.
As pointed out by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2), a vehicle overturned around 07:30 am and a few meters away another accident occurred in which two other cars were involved.
After receiving the first alert call about these events, the CECOES immediately activated the necessary emergency resources. At the scene of the events, the toilets of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), the Civil Guard, Firefighters and the Tenerife Highway Service are currently working.
