From Saturday 24, starting at 5:00 p.m., and until 01:00 a.m. on Sunday 25, it will take place, in the upper part of the Plaza de la Constitución, the Orotava Beer Festival, which celebrates its fourth edition. This year will feature the presence of various craft beer brewing firms and catering establishments with a varied gastronomic offer. In addition, on Saturday night you can enjoy the performance of DK’s Bobby BoB and Renzzo El Selector, and on Sunday, as closing, the group Agua del Chorro. Orotava Beer Festival is a gastronomic event that revolves around beer and that is becoming consolidated as an obligatory appointment.

On Sunday the 25th, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., it will be possible to once again enjoy the great North Tenerife Trade Fair, which combines fun with the sale of products at low prices. DiverSaldo will take place in the downtown area between the streets of Puente Escultor Estévez, El Calvario, Avenida de Canarias, San Agustín and Plaza de la Constitución. The more than 60 participating local companies will be distributed in these spaces of the hull.

Among other things, you can buy sports items, bazaars, jewelry, cosmetics, electronics, aesthetics, computers, toys, crafts, pastries, textiles, footwear, fishing items, typical costumes, hardware, accessories, watches, fixtures, decoration, children’s fashion and second-hand objects, as well as real estate agencies, opticians, stationery stores, hairdressers, health stores and second-hand vehicles. In addition, the shops in the Villa that want to open their doors can do so during the same hours.

Throughout the day there will be different children’s activities for the whole family on Calle San Agustín (on the side of the square), while at the end of the event there will be a fashion show on the façade of the Church of San Agustín, with the presence from many of the fashion companies participating in DiverSaldo.

This Trade Fair of La Orotava began to be held in 2005, and was a pioneer of these characteristics in Tenerife. The initiative aims to promote local commerce by allowing merchants in the municipality to sell out-of-season items and liquidate stock from previous years.

DiverSaldo is an activity that stimulates economic activity in general, since other establishments, such as restaurants, bars and cafeterias, also benefit from this event.
