The City Council of Granadilla de Abona, in the south of Tenerife, reported that Tuesday that bathing is provisionally prohibited on the beaches of Pelada, La Jaquita, El Cabezo and Playa Chica.

The closure occurs as a result of the rain falls on mondayindicates the municipal corporation, which adds that the prohibition of bathing is adopted as a precaution and to guarantee safety in these bathing areas.
The Granadilla City Council indicates that it is awaiting the results of the relevant counter-analyses, and adds that when the analyzes are suitable for bathing, the beaches will be opened.
Just two weeks ago, several beaches in the municipality were also closed for the same reason.
