SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 17 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Roads area, continues with the rehabilitation of the TF-1, focusing the work on improving the transfers, spaces located between both directions of the road and which are located at different points of the motorway to be able to make temporary diversions. On this occasion, the work will extend from the night of Sunday, September 18, until the morning of Thursday 22.
The vice president of the Cabildo de Tenerife and insular councilor for Roads, Enrique Arriaga, explained that in a few weeks the work will be considered complete, since all that remains is to install the horizontal signage, beacons, and finish off the indications made by the Works Management.
The works, carried out by the company Sacyr, will be carried out at night, between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., to minimize inconvenience to road users, based on the lower influx of traffic. Although they will affect different points of the motorway, in no case will both lanes be cut, so circulation will be guaranteed without the need for detours.
During the night of Sunday, improvements will be made in the sections located between kilometer points 49.3 and 50.2, in the municipality of Arico, and between kilometers 54.2 and 56.8 in Granadilla de Abona. The latter will also be the object of work on Monday night, next to the area of the road located between kilometers 58.2 and 60.6, in San Miguel de Abona.
On Tuesday, the rehabilitation will continue in this last section and will also move to the surroundings of kilometer point 76.5. Thus, starting at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, it will continue between kilometers 75.5 and 76.9 in the municipality of Adeje.
This time the work will not entail total closures of the road or its links, but will work on only one of the lanes, allowing circulation on the other lane.
These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that has been carried out since last April. In total, the works, carried out by Sacyr, comprise nearly 40 kilometers of the road between Adeje and Arico.
