A 52-year-old man was injured this Thursday with serious polytrauma when he fell while doing gardening work in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The events occurred shortly before 11:00 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert requesting health care for a man who had suffered a fall from height while doing gardening work on Santiago street.
The SUC staff assessed and assisted the affected person who presented various serious injuries and, once stabilized, he was transferred by medicalized ambulance to the La Candelaria hospital, where he was admitted in serious condition.
The Local Police collaborated in the regulation of traffic in the area and the National Police took charge of the corresponding proceedings.
