Julieta Venegas and Valeria Castro give voice to the second session of the Clean Concert for the Oceans of ‘Arona SOS Atlántico’

The singers Julieta Venegas and Valeria Castro will star in the second edition of the Clean Concert for the Oceans, of the Arona SOS Atlántico Festival [www.sosatlanticofestival.com] tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14, at the Infanta Leonor Auditorium. There are hardly any last tickets left to attend this show, which will start at 7:00 p.m. The last seats available can be purchased both at www.tomaticket.es as on the venue’s website (www.arona.org/auditorium) and the Festival ((www.sosatlanticofestival.com). Access to children under five is not allowed.

After the success of Rosario Flores and Ida Susal, in the first part of this Clean Concert for the Oceans, it will be the Mexican Julieta Venegas and the Canarian Valeria Castro who will join this message launched from music in favor of the protection of wealth Marine. The Mexican singer and songwriter will take the stage with four musicians and will perform both the piano and the accordion. In addition to delighting the public with her greatest hits, she will sing four songs from the new work that will be released in November: Same love, walk alone, on your shore and I found you. For her part, Valeria Castro will also be accompanied by a band at the Infanta Leonor Auditorium, where she will display the sensitivity that characterizes her compositions.

The doors to access the venue will open between 6 and 6:15 p.m. During the performances, images of the wonders of the Arona seabed, by documentary photographers and environmental defender, Sergio Hanquet, will be projected on the screen.

In this ninth edition, the Arona SOS Atlántico Festival will offer, in the coming months, more than 60 activities, in Paris, Madrid, Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Gomera and Lanzarote, double the number of activities carried out in the previous edition, to which has the support of the Arona City Council [municipio sede del Festival]Government of the Canary Islands [ICDC y Promotur]Council of Tenerife [Cultura y Turismo de Tenerife]Council of La Gomera and FAUCA [Canarias Viva].

Julieta Venegas

Composer and singer, she is one of the most recognized Mexican voices in the rest of the planet. After joining the band Tijuana No!, in 1996 he began his solo musical career, in which he has released seven studio albums and one acoustic for the MTV network. Julieta Venegas has sold around 25 million records worldwide, reaching gold and platinum records in Mexico, the United States, Italy, Argentina, Brazil and Spain.

The awards also support his career, with 2 Grammy and 10 Latin Grammy, 2 Billboard Music Award and 7 MTV, among others. It has 17.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, more than 800 thousand followers on IG; almost 3M on Facebook, and more than 4M on Twitter, which reaffirms its popularity day by day and the impact generated by its artistic quality.

She was named Goodwill Ambassador by UNICEF in Mexico and also Goodwill Ambassador by the Council of Ministers of Women of Central America (COMMCA). At the concert in Tenerife, she will review the great successes of her long career and present new songs from a new album, recorded seven years after his last record production something happenswhich will be released soon.

Valeria Castro

The singer and composer from Palma, Valeria Castro, became known on social networks with a self-managed profile of acoustic versions that, little by little, grew until she became one of the emerging performers on the Spanish music scene. With Warner Music Spain, Valeria Castro launches a project in homage to the songs that marked the 90s and 2000s in Spain.
