Five people have died with Covid-19 since last Friday in the Canary Islandsof which two have died in Tenerife, two in Gran Canaria and one in Lanzarotereports the Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The five deceased they were between 84 and 90 years oldhad previous pathologies and were hospitalized.
Since Friday, there have been 183 new cases of covid in people over 60, the only age group being monitored.
There are 79 people admitted to hospitals on the islands due to the pandemic, seven of them in intensive care and 72 on the ward.
The incidence of infections on the islands is 171 per 100,000 inhabitants in the last fourteen days and 80 in the last seven days.
