The Area of Highways and Mobility of the Council of Tenerife continue with the rehabilitation of the TF-1, focusing the improvement on the links at Armeñime and Adeje, as well as on some sections at Villa de Arico and Granadilla de Abona. The work will take place between the night of Sunday, September 11, and the morning of Friday, September 16, always at night.

The works, carried out by the company Sacyr, will be carried out between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., to minimize inconvenience to drivers due to the lower influx of traffic. This week, on Sunday and Monday nights, work will focus on the Los Menores/Armeñime/Playa Paraíso junction (81). On Sunday they will also work on the link to Adeje.

The Minister of Highways, Enrique Arriaga, explains that the works of this phase are about to be completed and that this intervention significantly increases driving safety and comfort.

Likewise, on Tuesday the section located between kilometer points 43.8 and 44.8 will be addressed; and on Wednesday the one between kilometers 46.6 and 50.2, both between Los Abades and the Granadilla Industrial Estate. On Thursday night, the cut for the works will cover the right lane between kilometer points 54 and 57, between San Isidro and Parque de la Reina.

This Sunday, the 11th, vehicles wishing to go to Santa Cruz de Tenerife from the areas adjacent to junction 81, must leave for Guía de Isora to make a U-turn at the Vera de Erques/Playa San Juan junction (87) .

Also, during this same night, the vehicles that need to access or leave Adeje, will be able to use link 81. Those that circulate in the direction of the capital and intend to use link 79, will have to continue until the Costa Adeje/La exit. Caleta/Playa Fañabé (78) to change the direction of traffic.

On Monday, drivers who want to go to Adeje from Los Menores, Armeñime and Playa Paraíso must access through junction 79. On the other hand, those who want to leave for Guía de Isora must drive towards Santa Cruz until junction 78, where can make a change of direction.

During Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday there will be no total road closure and the work will only be carried out in the right lane. For this reason, vehicles will be able to circulate in the left lane on the affected sections.

These works are part of the TF-1 resurfacing plan that has been carried out since last April. In total, the works, carried out by Sacyr, comprise nearly 40 kilometers of the road between Adeje and Arico.
