The Coordination Center of the Insular Operation against Forest Fires (Cecopin) of Tenerife has declared the fire of Los Realejos that declared the last july 21 and that was considered controlled on the 29th of the same month.
According to the Cabildo, the forest fire affected more than 2,700 hectares in the municipalities of Los Realejos, San Juan de la Rambla and La Guancha.
For its part, the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Canary Islands, based on the information available and in application of the Special Plan for Emergencies for Forest Fires (Infoca), has declared the emergency situation to be over due to the risk of fire in areas of medianías of these three municipalities and of Icod de los Vinos.
However, he recalled that the pre-alert situation due to the risk of forest fires is still in force as established by the Infoca.
