Torres highlighted the popular and participatory character of the ‘Bajada del Socorro’ which will conclude this Thursday afternoon with the return of the religious image to the church of San Pedro.
The president highlighted the good weather that accompanied the entire celebration this morning, “with sun but not too hot”, as well as the fact that “pilgrims and pilgrims from all over Tenerife and the rest of the islands” attended, whom he invited ” to live the tradition with greater intensity because today it is done after gradually beating the pandemic”, collects a note from the Executive.
Torres attended this pilgrimage after attending the central act of the ‘Columbian Days in La Gomera’ on Tuesday and this Thursday he will participate in the ‘big day’ of the Fiestas del Pino, in Teror (Gran Canaria).
