Starting this Saturday, thirty establishments in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz are participating in the second edition of Cocteleando por el Puerto (www.cocteleando.es), an opportunity to savor the best cocktails in the tourist city, promoted by the City Council’s Commerce area portuense in collaboration with merchant associations, to promote the sector of bars, terraces, pubs and entertainment venues in portuense.
Last Saturday, September 2, the starting signal was given with thirty participants, although more establishments could be added until September 18. The contest allows you to participate with all kinds of cocktails, with and without alcohol, made by professionals who work in this sector.
The mayor, Marco González (PSOE), valued the “collaborative work with a private sector that is committed to the present and future of this city, taking a leap in quality that can be seen in a hotel offer that we can boast of.” The councilor responsible for the area, Roberto Medina, also thanked the collaboration of all the commercial entities that represent the sector and that have participated very directly in the design and development of Cocktails in the Port. In addition, this year we are once again handing out some juicy prizes for the most suggestive cocktails with a jury appointed by the Association of Maitres that will value the talent and surprise of the master mixologists.
