The Civil Guardwithin the framework of the ‘Santero’ operation, has stopped at Tenerife five people from the same family for extorting money from a woman by simulating the kidnapping of her daughter, counting for this with the participation of the latter. Thus, after receiving a video in which the young woman appeared gagged and with a knife around her neck, the victim withdraws from a bank the amount of 50,000 euros to pay for the release of her daughter. The young woman asks her mother to stop the money “in a stone by the football field”.
