The improvement of the Autopista del Sur (TF-1) focuses this week on the links of Playa de the Americas, San Eugenio, Costa Adeje, Los Menores and Adeje. Likewise, the work of signaling the road will continue. The works will be carried out between the next dawn and Friday morning. The vice-president and insular councilor of Roads, Enrique Arriaga, points out that during the coming weeks the rehabilitation work will be completed, which will conclude at the end of this month.
“Completing this phase of the rehabilitation work not only means improving road safety, but also means consolidating a strong commitment by this institution to the sustainability of the Island,” he says. Arriaga recalls that these are works that allow the waste generated to be reduced by half and minimize the cost of aggregates.
The work to improve the TF-1, carried out by the company Sacyr, will take place between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. During this night, vehicles traveling in either direction and wishing to access Playa de las Américas may use the San Eugenio interchange (74). Those who go to Adeje leave for Santa Cruz de Tenerife to make a U-turn at Arona-Los Cristianos (72). Those who travel to the capital from the Siam Mall Shopping Center should go to Adeje until link 76 to make the change of direction there.
Tomorrow, vehicles wishing to access the San Eugenio link (74) must use the Costa Adeje-Torviscas-Playa Fañabé link (76).
On Tuesday night, to access Costa Adeje, La Caleta or Playa Fañabé from the South you must continue to San Eugenio (75). And if you want to access Adeje via the junction 79, you will continue to the Costa Adeje-La Caleta-/Playa Fañabé junction (78), make a U-turn and return to your destination. To go north from there, it is necessary to make the U-turn at the Los Menores-Armeñime-Playa Paraíso junction (81).
On Wednesday, to access Los Menores, Armeñime and Playa Paraíso you must use the Vera de Erques-Playa San Juan link. To drive in the opposite direction, use the Adeje junction (79 A) and change direction at 78.
On Thursday Adeje is accessed at junction 81 (Los Menores / Armeñime-Playa Paraíso) and if you do it in the direction of Santa Cruz you must continue until 78, make the change of direction and return until 81.
