SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep. 5 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Parliament of the Canary Islands received this Monday the visit of the boys and girls of the ‘Holidays in Peace’ program organized by the Canarian Association of Friendship with the Saharawi People.
The president of the Chamber, Gustavo Matos, members of the Board and Board of Spokespersons welcomed the boys and girls as well as the families with whom they have stayed this summer.
“Childhood is universal and the important thing is that all boys and girls have their rights guaranteed, especially the right to be happy,” said Matos.
For his part, the president of the association, Alberto Negrín Barroso, stressed that the ties between the Canarian and Saharawi peoples “will never be broken”.
