The City Council of Granadilla de Abona has decreed the bathing ban in the Central Beach of El Médano, La Tejita and El Chinchorro due to the runoff of rainwater that occurred yesterday, Thursday.
In a statement, the local corporation indicates that it has been decided to close these zones bathroom “in order to guarantee adequate levels of safety for the population”.
All this while waiting for the results of the relevant counter-analyses that are being carried out by the Municipal Service.
As soon as the analytics are suitable for the bathroom, it will be reopened, the statement added.
