Juana reopened the historic Cafeteria El Carro at the beginning of the year, to the satisfaction of a clientele who is delighted that the style of the closed bar has been maintained during the two hard years of the pandemic.
Now, with three workers, Cafeteria El Carro opens every day from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. to basically serve the neighborhood of El Cantillo and Tacoronte in general, almost “a family”, says Juana. In addition, she adds that “they are very happy with our service and are also grateful that we kept the same name as the cafeteria”, strategically located on a corner that overlooks the main highway of the North, in the busy neighborhood of El Cantillo.
At El Carro, which now has an outdoor terrace, sheltered from the cold and the wind, customers can basically find their rich and abundant sandwiches and mixed dishes, although croissants and hamburgers also stand out, as well as some more elaborate dishes with which sometimes they surprise.
From very early, the cafeteria is a “non-stop”, especially at breakfast time, in which you can have the DIARY OF NOTICES in paper edition as a company. But the same thing happens at lunch, where many diners opt for the affordable menu, with a combined plate, drink and bread.
