The Delicias del Teide cafeteria-restaurant has been feeding workers from the Polígono de Las Chafiras and visitors from the entire Abona region for 10 years. Four years ago it changed its location, just 100 meters away, to expand its facilities, but it remains faithful to its origin, with homemade food and menus that have a great claim.
Delicias del Teide provides service every day of the year, its kitchen is open from nine in the morning until half past ten at night, which is extended until eleven at night on Fridays and Saturdays.
From nine in the morning, Delicias del Teide “is a non-stop”, says its manager, offering excellent breakfasts, although the bulk of the work arrives at noon with three-course menus: one spoon (soups, creams or stews) , a combined plate and dessert, while in the afternoon-night customers prefer the delicious arepas and all kinds of sandwiches, as well as hamburgers and crazy potatoes, the latter one of the house specialties. Among its most popular dishes, at lunch and dinner, are chicken breast and entrecote.
Delicias del Teide has three waiters and a cook, with a service that is distinguished by familiarity, serving both the large interior terrace and the three tables outside the establishment, strategically located at the exit of the main roundabout on the road to Los Abrigos. “Now, with the opening of the new link, the traffic jams are fewer and our customers appreciate it”, apart from the fact that Delicias del Teide has a large car park for them.
