Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife (Titsa) has requested the Insular Directorate of Human Resources of the Cabildo de Tenerife to reduce the temporary employment of 331 workers, who would become indefinite.
The Minister of Mobility and President of Titsa, Enrique Arriaga, has assured in a statement that the company thus becomes the first in the Tenerife public sector to start a process of consolidating temporary employment into permanent employment, in compliance with Law 20/ 2021, and which will mean the stabilization of 77 jobs.
Likewise, TITSA has requested the Cabildo to allow the execution of the accumulated replacement rates until 2022, which would mean the stabilization of another 254 employees of the insular public company.
Arriaga highlights the speed of the transport company in starting this process, framed in the set of measures of the central government to consolidate temporary employment and which, he affirms, has the support of all the union sections of Titsa.
All these processes have been supervised and supervised by the Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Ministry of the Presidency, Finance and Modernization, for their culmination.
“This plan will allow, initially, an unprecedented number of conversion to indefinite in the public sector of the island”, concludes the first vice president of the Cabildo.
