Arrested twice in the same day for stealing a car and inside a restaurant in Tenerife

The Local Police of Candelaria (Tenerife) have arrested a 50-year-old man who allegedly climbed a wall and broke a restaurant window with an iron mallet to steal inside, and the next day he was arrested again for stealing a vehicle.

The place, located on the Rambla de Los Menceyes, was attended by four Local Police patrols last Sunday after receiving an alert from Cecoes 112, the Candelaria City Council reported in a statement on Wednesday.

Upon arrival at the restaurant, the agents intercepted a 50-year-old man who was proceeding to leave the place with the stolen effects, which could be returned at the time that the Local Police took charge of the investigation of the report.

The detainee was referred to the Güímar Court of First Instance and Investigation.

A day later, on August 22, the same man was arrested again thanks to a joint device between the Local Police and the Civil Guard after stealing a car from a business on Avenida Marítima and having an accident on the TF-1 with another vehicle involved.
