The National Police has arrested three people aged 30, 37 and 41 for committing a robbery with violence in a supermarket in La Laguna, from which they were surprised when leaving by the security guard who they attacked, managing to escape temporarily until they were located by police officers.
The events occurred on the afternoon of August 17, when the manager of the supermarket observed through the security cameras that two people, a man and a woman, were introducing numerous products into a cloth bag, the National Police detailed this Friday. it’s a statement.
He immediately notified the security guard, who appeared at the exit and, once the alarm of the establishment’s security arches sounded, asked them to show them the bag, at which point, after throwing part of the contents on the ground, the The woman grabbed him by the neck while the man grabbed her arm, knocking her to the ground and causing injuries.
While this was happening, a third person involved, to whom the assailants gave the bag with the stolen goods, left the supermarket, fleeing on a bicycle.
With the watchman badly injured, the other two authors ran out on foot, fleeing the scene.
Then the National Police was notified, who interviewed the victim security guard and the witnesses employed by the establishment upon arrival there, where they were shown images of the events that allowed the perpetrators to be identified.
Thus, a search device was set up with several police vehicles that allowed them to be located in a nearby square.
Once located, they were arrested and the minimum necessary force had to be applied to reduce them.
During the transfer to the police station, both the woman and one of the men were very aggressive, uncooperative and even threatened the agents.
The three authors had several police records, one of them with up to 18 arrests, several of them for similar events.
Numerous items of food and drink, as well as clothing and other items, had been appropriated in their loot.
