The events occurred this Monday afternoon on the Vía Variante Norte of the aforementioned municipality, a place to which members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium have moved to secure the injured vehicles and free the 49-year-old woman from inside the cabin. years, who was in cardiorespiratory arrest.
Next, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) performed advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers on the woman without success, so they could only confirm her death.
Subsequently, the SUC staff attended to a 44-year-old man, who at the initial moment of care presented moderate chest pain, as well as a 35-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both with neck pain. mild in nature. The three injured were taken by ambulance to the Hospital del Norte.
A doctor and a nurse from the Health Center of Icod de los Vinos, as well as personnel from the Road Maintenance Service of the Cabildo de Tenerife, also attended the scene of the incident, who carried out cleaning work on the road.
