The Roads area of the Cabildo de Tenerife will continue this week with the improvement of the TF-1 (highway of the South). On this occasion, the work will be centered on the links of Valle San Lorenzo-Guaza-Las Galletas (69), Los Cristianos (72), Playa de Las Américas (73) and Costa Adeje-Torviscas-Playa Fañabé (76), starting tonight and not Sunday night as usual.

The Minister of Roads, Enrique Arriaga, explains that the works are part of the TF-1 rehabilitation plan that has been carried out since April 2021 and includes the improvement of about 40 kilometers of the road between Adeje and Arico. The works, carried out by Sacyr, will take place at night, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and several detours will be enabled to guarantee the safety of drivers.

During the night of this Monday, the works will cover junctions 69 and 76. For this reason, vehicles wishing to drive towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife from Valle San Lorenzo, Guaza or Las Galletas must join the road to Adeje until link 72 (Los Cristianos), to make a change of direction. While to access these nuclei from the capital, you can use the exit to Las Galletas (TF-66) from link 69 itself. Likewise, those vehicles that wish to access any of the nuclei near link 76 or that intend to access to the motorway from these areas, you can use link 78 (Costa Adeje-La Caleta-Playa Fañabé).

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the works on junction 76, which will continue throughout the week, will be joined by the work on the service road that joins junctions 72 and 73. Thus, during these two nights, vehicles that want to travel from Arona to Adeje, you can leave for Santa Cruz and make a U-turn at junction 69 (Valle San Lorenzo-Guaza-Las Galletas.

Finally, next Thursday link 73 will be affected. Those drivers who wish to access Playa de Las Américas will be able to do so through link 74 (San Eugenio). Likewise, those who from this point must go towards Adeje will be able to leave towards Los Cristianos and change direction. Those who go to the capital from the Siam Mall can join the road through link 76.
