The Guia de Isora Municipal Model Car Circuit, the second installation on the Island of these characteristics, has already been inaugurated. The initiative, designed and promoted by the Racing Sur club, in collaboration with the City Council, is located in an area very close to the Tomás Hernández Alonso soccer field and has the approval of the Spanish Association of Radio Controlled Cars (Aecar), so the facility could host a Spanish championship.
“The inauguration of this new circuit demonstrates our commitment to promoting different types of sports,” said the mayor, Josefa Mesa.
The Councilor for Sports, Paúl Santos, thanked the Racing Sur Guía de Isora club for their work in making this project a reality today: “They have moved to materialize a circuit as complete as this one.”
