SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug. 11 (EUROPE PRESS) –
Agents of the National Police have arrested a 21-year-old man with no police record this Saturday, August 6, at a police checkpoint, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health in the towns of Adeje and Arona, in Tenerife.
The arrest has taken place thanks to the prevention devices established by the National Police to prevent the consumption and sale of narcotic substances in the leisure areas of the aforementioned towns, as reported by the police force in a press release.
In a police control of this nature, the agents stopped a vehicle driven by the young man in his twenties, who seized three grams of ketamine, 1.6 grams of pink cocaine, two grams of ecstasy and 950 euros in fractional currency.
Due to the diversity of the drugs seized, their dosed presentation for immediate sale, the cash, as well as the time and place of the intervention, the national police proceeded to arrest the young man and transfer him to the police station.
Finally, the detainee has been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority after being heard in a statement.
