SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 10 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Presidency, Treasury and Modernization area, has launched a new free advice and support service to facilitate taxi workers with the electronic procedures they carry out with the different public administrations. This is a pilot project that is expected to be extended to other self-employed workers.
This was announced by the second vice president and councilor of the area, Berta Pérez, after the meeting she held this week with the vice president of the Canarian Taxi Federation (Fedetax), Francisco Cabrera, to explain and disseminate among the group how to access this new service and what advantages it can bring.
The meeting was also attended by the insular director of Modernization, Daniel González, and the head of the Citizen Service, Maite Covisa.
Berta Pérez indicated that the objective is to help citizens become familiar with electronic administration in order to interact with the different public entities from any site with an Internet connection and with all the necessary legal guarantees.
“In the Cabildo we are not only working to modernize and improve, through technological innovation, the service that the island administration provides to citizens, but also to inform the population of how to make good use of the new channels that they have at their disposal to carry out any query, procedure or management with the administration in a more effective, fast and efficient way,” said the counselor.
To request this service, taxi workers must request an appointment through the link https://citaprevia.tenerife.es or by calling the Cabildo Citizen Service phone number, 922 23 95 00.
At the moment, this personalized attention is centered on the Citizen Attention Office of the Cabildo de Tenerife in Alcalde Mandillo Tejera (Santa Cruz), although the forecast is to extend it to the rest of the spaces distributed throughout the island, in such a way that all the offices will have in a few months with specific care posts.
