El Tanque, the non-coastal Canarian town preferred by foreigners to buy homes



A study carried out by the Idealista real estate portal includes the town of El Tanque (Tenerife) in the list of non-coastal places preferred by foreigners to buy homes in Spain.

According to this ranking, Ciudad Quesada (Alicante) is the non-coastal municipality in which there is a greater volume of searches for housing for sale from abroad. The second town is also located in the province of Alicante: Busot. The podium of small interesting municipalities for foreigners is completed with the Ciudalcampo urbanization, in the Community of Madrid.

In fourth place is El Verger (Alicante), followed by Fuente Obejuna (Córdoba), Ojén (Málaga), Formentera del Segura (Alicante), Palma de Gandía (Valencia), Viñuela (Málaga) and Montuiri (Balearic Islands), which ranks tenth.

Also in the Valencian Community is Villalonga (Valencia) which is in 11th place and Olivella, in Barcelona, ​​is in 12th place and is the first in Catalonia. They are followed by Almogía (Málaga), El Tanque (Santa Cruz de Tenerife), Algorfa (Alicante), Sineu (Balearic Islands), Turre (Almería), Montroy (Valencia), Puigpunyent (Balearic Islands) and Moralet (Alicante).

The study also offers the most visited town in each of the 50 Spanish provinces which, although in many cases are far from the interest aroused in provinces such as Alicante or Malaga, are relevant to local markets. In this sense, the municipality that arouses the most interest in foreigners in the province of Las Palmas is Tejeda (Gran Canaria).
