SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 8 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Advisory Committee of the Insular Emergency Plan of La Palma (Peinpal) has set Sunday as the day of access for residents of Atardecer, Maresía and Los Lajones streets, in Puerto Naos. The measure will be applied throughout August after analyzing the number of accesses made in the last week, when it was opened on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
People who wish to access their homes to carry out cleaning or maintenance work must request a QR code through the web https://permiso.lapalma.es/Request at least 24 hours in advance. Only neighbors and neighbors whose home is included in the perimeter may.
Today there are 117 people from Puerto Naos and La Bombilla who are still housed in hotels, which highlights the existing problem with gases in the coastal area and that makes it difficult to return to these towns.
Access to the northern area of Puerto Naos is carried out under the supervision of professionals from the Cabildo Emergency Service and also Environment agents. The citizens of the place have also received training talks to know how to act in that environment.
In addition to allowing people to enter their homes, the emergency coordination has established two days during the month of August so that people who own commercial establishments can access Puerto Naos who wish to carry out different tasks in their premises.
These people will be able to access on Wednesdays, August 17 and 24, from 09:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and must also request their QR code 24 hours in advance through the web. https://permiso.lapalma.es/Request.
