The project to carry out the renovation of the sewage network of Valleseco received yesterday the approval of the City Hall of Santa Cruz, an action that is part of the Municipal Cooperation Plan 2018-2021 developed by the Cabildo de Tenerife, and that will cost 2.7 million, financed 50% by each of the institutions. With the approval of the project, the provision of the land necessary to carry out the work, which affects nine streets of Valleseco, was also approved for the Cabildo.
The project contemplates the renovation of the existing concrete network with PVC pipes that guarantee the network to be watertight, as well as adapting the dimensioning to current and future requirements, also incorporating a separate rainwater network. In addition, the repair of the existing rainwater channeling that runs under the stairs, execution of a new spillway device and complete renovation of the supply network are planned.
The action includes the streets of Reverend Onsimo Betancort, Juan Silvestre, Jose Batan, Manuel Lomo, Pedro Delgado, Antonio Saro, Enrique Lara, Rafael Soto, and 55 meters from Fernández Vega.
The agreement of the Governing Board gives conformity to the construction project prepared by Cívica Ingenieros, by virtue of the service contract entered into by the Cabildo, by adapting to the current urban planning, although conditioned to the correction of the observations included in the reports of Emmasa , as well as those indicated by the Planning Department.
In addition, the Cabildo is authorized to deduct from the REF resources of this Corporation, the amount of the municipal percentage in the execution of the work amounting to 1,384,530 euros.
