Adriana Rivero is the new pilgrimage of the festivities in honor of Our Lady of Hope. He did it on a night that was accompanied by the prevailing good weather, the line-up of artists announced with the closing of Edwin Rivera, live music by the same group of professionals who put on the popular Noche de Taifas program, and the desire to experience this type of event, which had not been held since 2019 due to the pandemic. In total, around 2,000 people were present in the surroundings of the Plaza del Adelantado in an appointment that precedes the pilgrimage, which will take place this Sunday.
The gala, dedicated to water, began with Chago Melián singing the Malagueñas del agua and seconded by the girls from the Acquamarina Club and the Batistana El Rosario Club, who they also performed their spectacular choreography in the final performance of Puerto Rican singer Edwin Rivera. Music played an important role throughout the Gala, which also featured hopeful Virginia Torres and Miriam Cruz (highlighting her interpretation of the song Black Tears) and José Manuel Ramos, who did a duet with Chago Melián, to sing the anthem Atlantic.
Perhaps the most emotional moment of the night was the recognition of the figure of the expert in traditional clothing, Ubaldo Hernández, a tireless collaborator in popular festivals throughout the Canary Islands, who sadly passed away in 2020.
