A woman has died after being rescued from the sea on the Castillo beach, in the Tenerife municipality of Puerto de la Cruz.
The events occurred around 11:20 a.m. this Saturday when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received a call informing them that the lifeguards on this beach were practicing resuscitation maneuvers on a woman they had rescued from the sea.
The health personnel who went to the area found that the affected person remained in cardiorespiratory arrest and continued to perform advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without success, for which they confirmed her death.
