SAN SEBASTIAN DE LA GOMERA, Aug. 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) has recovered this Friday the lifeless body of a man in the vicinity of Tapahuga beach, in San Sebastián de La Gomera, as reported by the 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center from the Canary Islands
The events occurred around 3:29 p.m., when the 112 was alerted that there was a body floating in the vicinity of said beach, so it activated the GES helicopter, which after locating it, the rescuers of the aircraft and they have hoisted the affected person, to transfer him to the beach.
Once on land, a doctor from the health center in the area, together with the staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), have confirmed the death of the man.
Maritime Rescue has also participated in the device with a salvamar boat, while Civil Guard agents have guarded the deceased until the arrival of the judicial authority and have been in charge of carrying out the corresponding procedures.
