La Arena beach will host this coming Sunday, August 7 from 10:00 a.m. the 2nd edition of the Santiago del Teide Aquathlon, which has a total of 130 registered and hopes to continue consolidating itself within the calendar of tests of this modality.
In this competition, the participating athletes must complete a first sector of a 2.5-kilometre foot race along the coast of the municipality, a 1,000-meter swimming sector in the sea and, again, a 2.5-kilometer race on foot for the initial route.
The start of the male category will be at 10:00 am while the start of the female category will be at 10:05 am. The collection of numbers, at a stand located on the Avenida Marítima de Playa de La Arena, will take place from 08:00 to 09:10.
