La Trinidad Street, on the western margin of the La Gañanía Industrial Estate, joins the TF-324 and TF-333 island roads. In it, the City Council of Los Realejos will invest 150,000 euros, charged to its Neighborhood Plan, in the provision of a new water network and to repave the road. It is a road of 606 linear meters, with more than 5,000 square meters of intervention surface. The local government announces the replacement of the water supply network, “due to the deficiencies presented” by the current one, and explains that the subsequent resurfacing is justified by “the advanced state of deterioration” in force.
The mayor of Los Realejos, Adolfo González, explains that the project contemplates the secondary supply network and includes the household connection, passage and distribution manholes with their corresponding valves.
«This project, with an investment of 149,513 euros, is part of a block of works that went out to tender for 988,143 euros, whose deadline for admission of offers ended this Monday, so, following the legal procedure, it will be awarded soon, “says Noelia González.
Adolfo González also stressed the importance of “approaching each corner to see first-hand the neighborhood proposals and to exchange impressions.” He defended that this type of infrastructure project “starts from its previous demand, but already immersed in the prelude to its execution, any other contribution that finishes polishing, defining and improving the proposed technical proposal is always welcome”.
The package of works tendered includes the resurfacing of El Secuestro street, in San Vicente; of the Camino Las Rosas, in the center of Icod el Alto, affecting the entire road and intersections with the adjacent ones, and a part of the El Mocán highway and the streets of El Secadero and La Garrota; in the La Grimona Urbanization, in La Zamora, Bentanor, Echeyde, Guacimara and Yaiza streets; 1,250 linear meters of the Camino Lomo Zamora; from the intersection with Avenida de Canarias to Plaza de San Agustín on Calle San Agustín; as well as El Natero street and Camino Sanabria, from the nucleus of La Cruz Santa.
Also, Among the actions that will be awarded shortly, the realejero municipal government contemplates the resurfacing and adaptation of various infrastructuresamong which he cites the lighting and telecommunications network in the section of Viera y Clavijo street between its intersection with Godínez street and its intersection with Pablo García street.
Councilor Noelia González advanced that, in addition, “the procedures for the corresponding contracting procedures for the Las Rosas street rehabilitation project and the improvement of a curve in Toscas de Romero have already begun, for their next tender.” Work is also under way to obtain the corresponding and mandatory authorizations from other administrations to carry out the renovation projects for the streets called Siete Fuentes, La Isleta, La Magnolia, El Calvario, El Viñático, Lomo Márquez and El Terrero, as well as from Callejón del Burro and Camino Las Pardelas, according to the government.
