A 21-year-old woman was seriously injured as a result of a quad accident in the coastal area of the Tenerife municipality of Adeje and was transferred to a hospital in critical condition.
According to the sources consulted, the affected person is a British citizen and at the time of the event she was a passenger in the aforementioned vehicle.
Supposedly, the quad in which the victim was riding belongs to a leisure and adventure company in the area.
The accident occurred on a dirt track near the town of La Caleta. The alert for the event entered the operating room of 112 at 9:51 am. From this entity, personnel from a basic life support ambulance and another medicalized one were activated, as well as from the medicalized helicopter of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC), which was in charge of evacuating the affected person to the hospital.
