The deputy mayor of San Miguel de Abona has responded to this particular communication through the radio, reminding them that they do not have authorization, and that without it, the festival cannot be held. “If we continue along this path, the Local Police of San Miguel de Abona will seal off the premises,” has warned. García has explained that the organization of the event began to sell tickets for said festival in April, when they had not even presented the documentation, something they did on May 9. García explained that from the Consistory they have to guarantee that there is a minimum of security for the attendees, neighbors and even passers-by and drivers. And having seen all the files and all the documentation, many of the necessary certifications fail to guarantee minimum security. “If the installations are not certified for both sound and lighting, there is no electricity project, the self-protection plan is not approved either… and even more serious, they do not have AESA authorization either,” he indicated.
