Rockfall on the coast of Icod de los Vinos. The event occurred this Tuesday and was captured by Simón de la Rosa in a video that he uploaded to his Twitter account @Rhandall77. In it, it is observed how a more or less large volume of rocks, stones and dust fall into the sea in a surprising way.
From the National Geographic Institute (IGN) reported that at 7:10 p.m. local time on July 26 there was a notable landslide on the coast of Icod de los Vinos in Tenerife, an event that the IGN seismic network stations widely recorded in several of them installed on the island .
The volcanologist Itahiza Domínguez also referred to this landslide on his Twitter account, stating: “I don’t know the area in particular, but in general it is not uncommon for landslides to occur on the islands.”
