A 21-year-old woman is in critical condition after suffering a quad accident in Adeje, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.
The events occurred at around 09:51 am on the dirt track located in the La Caleta area of the aforementioned municipality and the staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) traveled to the scene and, upon arrival, verified that the affected had a serious upper limb trauma.
She was later transferred to the Adeje Volunteer Fire Department helipad, from where the SUC medicalized helicopter evacuated her in critical condition to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
In this incident, members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium have also collaborated, who ensured the maneuvers of landing and taking off the helicopter, as well as agents of the Local Police who collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and carried out the corresponding report.
