SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 28. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 21-year-old woman is in critical condition after suffering a quad accident in Adeje, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.
The events occurred at around 09.51 hours on the dirt track located in the La Caleta area of the aforementioned municipality and the staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) have traveled to the place, who upon arriving in the area have verified that the affected presented a serious upper limb trauma.
She was later transferred to the Adeje Volunteer Fire Department helipad, from where the SUC medicalized helicopter evacuated her in critical condition to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
In this incident, members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium have also collaborated, who ensured the maneuvers of landing and taking off the helicopter, as well as agents of the Local Police who collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and carried out the corresponding report.
